Technical terms explained briefly and concisely

The valve requires the pressure energy of the medium to open or close. The medium pressure or the existing pressure difference lifts the sealing element.

This type of actuation allows magnets with relatively low force to be used for large volume flows and relatively high pressures.

RSG's high-quality plastic valves can be used wherever conventional metal fittings are not sufficiently resistant. Media resistance is achieved by means of media separation. A PTFE bellows or a separating membrane separates the metal anchor from the medium. RSG plastic valves are suitable for liquid, gaseous, neutral, and especially aggressive media. Depending on requirements, PVC, PP, PVDF, or PTFE are used as housing materials. The most common sealing and diaphragm materials are EPDM, FKM, and PTFE.
